Privacy Policy

FlightHome is a live flight map with airport arrivals and departures, available at flighthome.app and as an Android app, published by Ricardo Lopes ("we"). This policy explains what data FlightHome uses.

No account, no ads, no trackers. FlightHome has no user accounts, shows no advertising and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. We do not use the Android advertising ID.

Data stored on your device. Your language and settings are stored only on your device. We do not receive this data.

Location. To centre the map when you open FlightHome, our server reads the approximate area (country or city) from your internet connection. This is used only to answer that request and is not stored. Your exact location is used only if you press the location button and allow it; it is used on your device to centre the map and is never sent to us.

Flights you search. When you search a flight or open an airport, the flight number or airport code is sent to our server to fetch the timetable. These requests are not linked to you and are not stored beyond a short technical cache.

Services we connect to. To show the map and flight data, your device or our server connects to: OpenStreetMap (map tiles), planespotters.net (aircraft photos), adsb.lol (aircraft positions), AeroDataBox (timetables), aviationweather.gov (airport weather) and Cloudflare (hosting). Like any website, these services receive your IP address and device information when they deliver content. We do not sell or share any personal data.

Children. FlightHome is a general audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.

Changes. We will update this page if FlightHome's use of data changes.

O FlightHome não tem contas, não mostra anúncios e não usa rastreadores de estatísticas ou publicidade, nem o ID de publicidade do Android. A língua e as definições ficam apenas no teu dispositivo. Para centrar o mapa, o nosso servidor usa a zona aproximada da tua ligação à internet, sem a guardar. A tua localização exata só é usada se carregares no botão de localização e autorizares, e fica no dispositivo. As pesquisas de voos e aeroportos não estão ligadas a ti. Para mostrar o mapa e os dados, ligamo-nos ao OpenStreetMap, planespotters.net, adsb.lol, AeroDataBox, aviationweather.gov e Cloudflare, que recebem o endereço IP como qualquer site.
